Geoff joined Patamar Capital as a Founding Partner and a member of the investment team in 2009. He has been active in venture capital investing for over 30 years, managing more than $2 billion in investment capital, investing both debt and equity in over 400 companies, including Ciena, Coinstar, Hotmail, and Human Genome Science. Geoff was the Founding Partner of Dominion Ventures, which he led from 1985 to 1998 and where he pioneered the concept of venture debt. Geoff then founded and led Kreos Capital (acquired by BlackRock in 2023), introducing the concept of venture debt to Europe. In addition to working full-time at Patamar Capital, Geoff has founded and served in an advisory role to numerous innovative and impact-driven organizations, including: India's leading investment bank, Unitus Capital (2010 to Present), University Impact (2019 to 2024), and the University Venture Fund, (2001 to 2015).
Geoff earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Brigham Young University in 1981 and an MBA from the University of Utah in 1983.
